Our Environment

Granville Wyche House

The hub of the Chandler School is the Granville Wyche House. Granville Wyche built his house in 1931 in Italian Renaissance style. Its hardwood floors, numerous fireplaces, alcoves and dark-wood central staircase are more reminiscent of Hogwarts than a typical school.

The One Room School House

The ORSH harkens back to the simpler times of education.

The Field

We believe learning works best when students move. We offer two recesses per day that provide our students time to refresh their minds. The Field is where most of this time is spent, giving our students room to roam and cut loose.

The Hockey Rink

Another common place to find students during their recesses is the Hockey Rink. The Rink hosts the Chandler Hockey League, our street hockey league, and provides another venue for kids to play and release some kinetic energy.

The Pond

Our campus pond serves as a serene oasis, offering a calming environment for students. It also functions as a vibrant outdoor classroom. This space supports both relaxation and education, fosteing a unique blend of tranquilty and discovery.
